Where are you based and do you travel?
I am located in Wyandotte, Michigan and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee depending on where the event/session take place. I always try to find the most economical way to get to the location so that you can have your dream wedding without breaking the bank!
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you create the vision you have for your wedding day.
I will send you a timeline that will assist you with organizing your day. This will help you plan how much photography you will need. We can discuss the best moments so that it keeps your day running smoothly. I get so excited because I love photographing your dress, shoes, the rings, the flowers, oh, wait, I love ALL OF IT! On your wedding day, my goal is to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and the crazy that make your wedding unique and the most memorable. Getting all the details are key! I want to make sure your day is captured so years down the line it continues to evoke the same emotions as if your wedding happened just yesterday.
How many pictures will we receive?
Please check out my "Portfolio" and select the package you're interested in. Each session includes how many images you will receive. Please keep in mind that I always choose quality rather than quantity and opt to select the best and most significant photos to tell your story.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive a link to your online gallery with all your photos within a maximum 8-10 weeks for weddings and 2-3 weeks for all others (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You will be able to download all the images from the gallery as well as choose your favorites, share them, and have friends and family order prints! I will be happy to print the photos and send them so you can ensure they have it in a timely fashion with the best quality images.
Do you offer actual photographs?
Yes! Yes! Yes!!
I feel this is what sets me apart from other photographers. I ALWAYS include 4x6 images in every package. These images are selected by YOU so you will get your favorites from your session! And of course, you will always get full downloading rights to the entire collection. This way you will be able to print more if you like as well as use them for special projects for your thank you notes or announcements!
How do I book a wedding or a session with you?
You can go to "contact" and send me a message via email and I will reply within 72 hours.
Once you email me, we can schedule an appointment. Weddings do require a signed contract with a 25% deposit to secure your date. We certainly can set up a meeting or I can send the contract and timeline to you right away.
All other sessions generally do not require a deposit, however if you cancel a session and book at a later time, a small non-refundable deposit will be necessary.
What should we wear for our pictures?
You should wear what you feel the most confident in!
Pick an inspiration outfit and then select coordinating solid colors and textures for everyone else. This way it compliments the entire group.
Matching outfits or having EVERYONE in plaids, bold prints, or stripes would not be ideal for your session.
It is best to keep graphic T-shirts out of the mix too. Guys? Baseball caps should be avoided if possible. We can certainly get a few poses with the cap, but to keep some of the pictures timeless, I will ask you to remove it for a few shots too.
